I'm looking for articles/blog posts that explain why the common misconceptions about bra sizing are wrong. I know there are several that I've read, I just neglected to bookmark them and now can;t find them.

This one summarizes the most important ones pretty well

On the other hand, this review is pretty extensive but makes great points (I think it's been written by one of the members here)

Not the ones I was thinking of (There's the one with that size chart that shows the actual ranges and the VS ranges... there's also one explaining why sister sizes don't work with a cupcake analogy- volume vs a 2D measurement...)
Nonetheless, helpful. Thanks!

Ah, I think that one that talked about cupcake frosting was in this blog, http://theprettyyear.com/ sadly it seems to be down. I think she's on here too :P (there's a review of that post here though

There's a related post I wrote about why cups vary on band size here http://bra.pe/EBT :P and on the Sanikomania and Balkonetka blogs they also talk about how cups are different by band.

I'm sure I've seen many of the charts you describe, I'll see if I can find some later, I have tons of those bookmarked :P

I read one that mentions VS, but it doesn't have a size chart: http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~cat/bra.html.
